Default Tanabe Installed on 460

A big thanks to Kris @ GOTO Racing! I got the new Tanabe exhausts from him on Friday, and they were on my car Saturday morning. Kris was very helpful, and responsive to my numerous questions, so thanks again sir!

Here they are in perfect condition after the delivery...nice and shiny

The next morning, she goes up in the air for the installation...

A trick I learned from a member on here is to spray a lubricant on the hanger and the pin will slide right out...

These are the only two bolts that you will have to remove...a cheater bar helped loosen them

But before you completely remove the bolts, make sure you support the mid pipe to prevent any damage

Here she is after the install...

The sound is definitely not as loud as Designo's 460, but is 2 or 3x louder than stock. In the short term, I think I'd prefer it a little louder, but my plan is to keep my car for a very long time, so I think it's perfect.

Good move, you won't regret it. Are you planning to install it yourself?

very nice install! For some reason I thought the 460 was a true dual and not an axle back like the 350. Good to know!

Thanks again Edwin for letting me check out the mufflers on your car. You got a very nice ride...great buy. I am very surprised the ride is so good with a drop, and bigger rims. I had always thought it would ride very rough.

Thanks TWong...here you go

I can only dig up an old pic of the house when it was being built. My son was hold a white belt at the time, and he's a black belt now.

I installed the landscaping lights, and made the house really "pop" at night...

Last summer we put in a pool, summer kitchen, and hot tub...no more mowing the side or backyard...yeah!

Pool with LED lights at night...

I hope you enjoy the pics

Looks good. If you want your car louder, dont add a midpipe, coz it will be raspy. Will dump my setup soon and custom make a true dual if I keep the car. Lovely house btw.
