4th Gen GS
Anyone upgrading to a new GS?
I cant not say Im a huge fan of the new design. Looks too IS-ish. No V-8 model out yet either.
Overall I think the design is not as clean and elegant.
Refinements are neat, interior is not bad, have to see it in person.
I was never a fan of 2nd gen GS, but when the 3rd one came out I loved it right away. I had a 98 LS 400 back then.

Love the interior, tech, and vastly improved driveability. Hate the rear! If they revamped the 3gs rear n made it more aggressive, and paired it with the 4gs front, that probably would have looked better.

I just think the stance is just not as solid. And the nose is just over worked, way too busy.
Dash looks like a BMW double hump dash which I never liked in a 745 BMW either.
If a car has to grown on me, I'm not too crazy about it. I guess time will tell. Curious how the V8 model drives when it comes out.
I'm just looking for options a few years down the line. There is always BMW 550i, but with its 4.4 twin turbo setup, I'm curious how reliable it will be past the warranty time table.

in person it looks alright but I think you need to get the F-sport package which I plan to get, I can say I will wait a year before I buy, hoping for GS-F. In person that interior really is top notch and the navigation really is huge there is no joke with that the navi screen really has that wow factor. They had one at the dealership yesterday and asked me to come and see it. Will post the pics I took of it.

It belonged to a Lexus Rep. who came in to get snow Tires. Gotta say sitting in it felt like the BMW 5 series cause the roof felt lower than the 3GS. The Engine felt less ticky if you know what I mean. The lights are def. brighter. The ML system is def. better sounds better and less distortion.

ES front..& IS rear thats how it looks like.but the interior looks amazing kind of remind of the 5 but anyways...i dont know why they didnt put quad headlights?? like the originals GS ..doesnt look anything special ..2-3GS look better...they should of made it like the new E class aggressive looking but better with GS shape.
