Jus bought a used '08 GS 350 in silver/black. I ask them how much it would cost for black pearl emblems and they told me $750!! I almost flipped! I'm in NY is it like that at all dealerships round the country?

If sewells dont have them, email them first but still if they dont go http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=2787 and if you don't like their price then check the vendor section or use the SEARCH function and see where people got they're black emblems and see if you can get a price. Dealerships now days are stealerships you should know that by now

Paint them yourself, I did my front emblem and it came out great. Just make sure you put a clear coat on it to protect it from rock chips. I'm redoing mine this weekend because I didn't put a clear on it the first time

Plastidip is a good product. My grill headlight surrounds and emblems are holding up great. Looks good but not as nice as the black pearl. We had them on our 03 es and they were great.

I did plastidip way before but end up put the black pearl emblem on my car,
you can see the difference from the pictures,
plastidip will give you dark matte finished,
black pearl emblem is more shiny finished.

Had mine color matched black bought new emblems and had them professionally painted for $200 all new rear emblems, prep and paint and application to the car. Love it!!!

If you REALLY want Black Pearl emblems like I did, I'd highly suggest doing it yourself. The results are insanely similar to the real Black Pearl. I did them myself and very happy with the result!

So what i use to do on my.is is go to your local hobby shot look for black pearl r/c paint .....

Its all about prepping the emblems . Light sand till the shines gone and a i used a white or almost clear primer also r/s paint let it dry for 2 hours and do light coats of the black pearl r/c paint i did about 5 coats the more coats the darker it is. I found the thread on my.is and just followed the instructions
