Greetings from the UK!!!

Just purchased a 2006 plate GS300 and apart form the passenger dash side noises (to be fixed shortly on advice from here) is an awsome car.

One minor thing however is driving me crazy!!! how do i change the first screen that comes up when you start the car..........at the moment it defaults to NAV and the i agree screen and does the same after park assist activates. i basically want the screen to stay on the audio setting when i first start the car.

depending on what map version you have, you'll have to always press the i agree button on start up. the newer maps dont require it. i would check out what version map you have and go from there.

Yes I have the updated map and the agree screen is gone, but it still gives that policy before you drive. You have the older maps and if you upgrade that will be gone. As for the audio staying in audio that wont happen it will always default to Nav. Hope this helps.

fixed it!!!! but not fixed it!!! i'll expalin..............this was with the car running......

was just messing about with it last night and when in audio mode i pushed the "info" button and then on the screen the "trip info" button.......then back to the "audio" button..........if you then push the audio button it toggles between trip info and audio.......

when you start the car it now comes up with the trip info screen straight away and you do not get the annoying i agree screen..............i much prefer this and then just hit the audio button. When you reverse on camera it goes back to the trip info screen.

again not perfect but this is better than the previous................i'm gonna keep playing!!
