Cool Black GSh & Black E63...Yellow Brakes/Orange Brakes

Thought some might enjoy this pic I took at Buckhead Imports...The brakes on the AMG are stock and are painted "Gallardo Orange". They really make the black pop out...Not for everyone I know.

I'm more a fan of the classice red "Brembo" look. Still, have any of you driven an E63? Wicked would be the one word that comes to my mind. My Bro-in-law has an E55 and tried to talk me into one before we got our GS. It sounds kind of stupid, but all he can manage is 19mpg on the highway, while I can hit 25 at constant 80mph and 26 if I back off just a touch. The E55 does set you back in the seat for sure, but the E63 is just downright wicked...

There's a lot of thought in why we went back with a Lexus though....

<sigh> So many cars.... so little time....

HAha the mercedes rims look so tiny Honestly I think its a great setup you have and flows well. But if i were you i would of done 2 simple things, remove the yellow film/ting on fogs and put some dark tints on the car

Nice photo.

Ever notice how the panels on the Lex are so much smoother and seamless then other cars? Looks like one uniform piece of metal. I like that about our cars.

Although I don't have 5 spoke wheels I wish I could be there to be the 3rd musketeer.. Haha looks great! Yours looks better than the Merc because both your calipers sit behind the rotor as opposed to the Merc's rear calipers. And Yellow is definitely growing on me. But I'm a sucka for classic red!

Default What up

Ran into 1SICKLEX today and all I can say is Wow. This car is beautiful in person. I vote yellow. When I started buying black cars I always had visions of going with yellow.
