I would like to, but I don't want to pay the long distance charge. How much would the charge be anyways? Any way I can call them for free over the internet?

Thanks, I already did. They're looking into it and will hopefully get back to me with good news.

Default Roof Rack

If you happen to find a source, if you could post back, that would be great. I would be interested as well.

Thanks

Might be cheaper to by an xB for the gear than a roof rack from Europe.

you're willing to shell out a couple hundred to pay for the rack and shipping from europe but you won't pay long distance fees???

LOL, you could be right, although I find it absurd that the US doesn't offer this stuff. The 2IS owners can get a roof rack here but 3GS owners can't?

I finally found an aftermarket roof rack that works with the 3GS! For those that are interested, Saris makes it and I heard that they're comparable to, if not better than, Thule or Yakima, albeit not as ubiquitous. I'll be getting one for my car. Thanks for everyone's help.

I noticed that the UK source had a trailer hitch in the .pdf file. I'll have to go back and read my manual but as I recall, they said you couldn't tow anything. I assumed it was because of all the stability electronics. Maybe another example of someone deciding for us what we can have.
