I use a trunk rack. Best one there is - Saris Bones RS. Not like other truck carriers that have like 6 straps. This thing has 2 straps, is solid as hell, and locks securely to the car. It is super easy to put on and take off. I hate the look of roof racks. I like my car clean. But, its easy to carry my bike when I need it.

It touches the car at the bottom of the trunk, just on top of and just under the spoiler, and straps hook at the top of the trunk lid. I had my clear bra guy put small pads of clear bra material where the rack touches.

For your fram, you will still need one of those support bars that goes from your stem to your seat. Thats the only way to carry many newer FS bikes.

+1 for Saris. I've got a slightly different model, but works great.

I realize this is a late response to the question but I normally frequent the IS forum. Thought I would share with you that the GS roof rack is available for sale on the Canadian Lexus website (www.lexus.ca).

jdog, is that a spoiler u have???

im at saris.com now, they list a lot of models that are incompatible with the 2007 GS with spoiler. weird that they dont have anything on the Bones RS.

i got the Saris Bones 2 from a store. looks like i have to return it cause its listed as incompatible with my lexus n the factory installed spoiler.

The Saris Bones 2 should work... I have the Bones 3 and it works just fine -- doesn't come close to touching the spoiler.

jdog, could you let me know which bracket notch position setting you use? I just bought a Bones RS and as I'm sure you know, the fit guide does not give the setting for a 3GS.

Thanks in advance!

I just bought one today. Tree Fort Bikes is the best place to get it online now--got mine for $214 shipped.

This looks like a slick setup, IMO. Thanks for the pics, jdog! You made this decision easy. I'm wondering if I will need the support bar for my '07 Giant Anthem 2. Will see when I get the rack.

Seems to be working for me on notch 12. The rubber feet go above and below the spoiler -- sort of.
