3GS fuel economy...
Hello Again,
It's been about three weeks that I have been driving my new 3GS. And, by my surprise I see the car's indicator shows that the average mpg is 14.9. No wonder I refueled so often...
Anyone else experiensing such a thing- and what's the solution?
Thank you.

I filled the thank twice and the odometer shows 409 miles (most of them on highway!). I remember 400miles on my old 2gs on one tank.
There must be something wrong. Tomorrow I'll call customer service.
Thanks

I typically average around 24-25 in mixed driving. I will also say that it seems to be a little worse in the winter time. If I do a tank of total expressway driving I can get over 30. I also use my cruise control and set it at around 62 on the expressway.

No power mode. Just a mix or normal drive. No speeding either. Before resetting. City drive: it was showing average 10.8 mpg.
So with highway driving I got above 14mpg.

Well, at least I'll know after I talk to them tomorrow.
I don't want to be confrontational already. The reason I'm asking here is to find out whether anyone else had same experience and what the possibilities are.
Personally, it's not acceptable that my "new" car makes close to half the mileage they claim.

2011 GS350 AWD with ~1000miles on the ODO.
Avg 19.0 mixed city and highway. Actually, my commute is a 7 minutes commute on the highway when there's no traffic. But almost all the time, there's traffic and it took me about 15minutes. Even it's on the highway, it should count as city driving since I'm in a stop and go.
I was getting 25MPG when I reset the counter and drove all on the highway. I'm sure I can get better than this in when the weather warms up.
