anyone else find it comical how the 2013 GS commercial now refers to the cassette tape as outdated technology. I mean after all, it was a standard feature in the 3GS - LOL

Would not that reference seemed more appropriate for say, oh I dunno, the 1GS ad campaign not the 4GS? Makes me chuckle when I see the ad...

I've gotten the same tape deck remarks but it comes in handy, given I have no aux input.

That's pretty bad for a $50K+ car.
On my 2011, I'm still bitter that the headlights are not bi-xenon and the tail lights are not LEDs!! wtf?

 

um the taillights have been LEDS since 06

 

+1 same here. in fact, the tape can produce fairly good sound quality if you use a good tape deck to record the music.

 

as funny as it may sound, I actually have a few old tapes I listen to :P

I agree...I examined one up close at the dealership the other day. The front is nice, interior is AMAZING but the rear looks like a Subaru not a Lexus. I remember when the 745 Beamers came out with the new look I liked everything but the back on them, it seemed like the design team walked out in the middle of the presentation. They finally got it right with the late model 7-series. Hopefully, Lexus will consider changing the rear in a few years also. In the mean time...I'll stick with the 3GS!!
