I need new 18'' tires for my 07 350.
I want to maximize the smoothness and comfort of my ride, without caring too much for performance.
I don't want to pay over $175/tire.
Any suggestions?
A local shop suggested the Bridgestone Potenza 760's.
These will cost about $750 installed.
Can I get something better for the price?
Should I go with another brand? Falkens?
Also, does anyone know what could of caused my bumper sensors to stop working?

Yes, $750 is out the door.
How so I turn my bumper sensors on/off? Is there a button somewhere in that little piece that pops out with my sideview mirror settings, etc.?

I wouldn’t go with Falkens, the saying you get what you pay for applies to the Falkens, Like someone recommended the Continental DWS are great tires and I think they have just DW, or you could go with the Pirelli tires, I'm happy with them the cost for mine came to $600. The DWS is usually cheaper, and that’s a great deal on Bridgestone Potenza's

The sensor on my 2011 RX350 is inop at the moment, the dealer found what might be the problem. The sensor is slightly bent, no marks to indicate why it is dented. It will be replaced by Lexius when the sensor comes to the dealer. The other issue has been well explained, I have shut the sensor system off for the time being. I think when you shut the one sensor off the whole system is off, so be careful, you woun't have any warning senors working!!!!! I have found the info on tries to be helpful to me so thanks.

Some guy on craigslist has Yokohama Advan a13 tires that are basically new for $600. These retail for $400 each. However, I've read reviews which say that these are strictly performance tires... so I have to pass.
I don't care about performance. I want a smooth, quiet ride that takes advantage of the luxury side of the GS.
And now that I read reviews of the Bridgestone 760s, I'm reading that they have a lot of road noise and wear out quickly.
I seriously don't know which tires to get. What can I get a quiet, smooth ride with that'll last 30k miles... around $600?

sorry to jump on your post, but I too have been reading up on tires. Has anyone tried the Goodyear Eagle tire. It cost about $190 a tire, but I heard its a hard tire so the ride isn't good. Everything I've read points towards the Michelin Pilot or Continental SportTrac, or DW, which are about $300 per tire.
