Default brother in law interested in GS 350 07 or 08. what are good deals?

So my bro in law is looking to get a used gs350. (He likes my 06 so it was only a matter of time lol). Right now he's looking at a black w black interior 08 gs350 AWD No nav or No ML. It's coming from a subaru dealership. The car is reportedly in perfect condition and they are asking $29k. He wants it for $26k. I think this is a bad deal. CL fam please chime in. I know he would like ML + Nav. What's a good deal for an 07 or 08 with low mileage (under 60k) with ML and Nav?

Hard to say with the new GS out. I probably wouldn't pay more then 26k for the 07. Why not get a GS450h? He could get a fully loaded up 2007 for 29k. I don't think the Hybrid will take the hit in deprecation like the 430/350/&460. Historically hybrids hold there value much better. haven been in both if I was to purchase another 3 gen I wouldn't think twice.

He wants AWD though, so hybrid is out of the question

Picked my 2007 GS450H up for $25,500 with 63k miles (loaded of course). That was about 2 weeks before the new version came out. Now anything over $25000 is too high in my opinion. Unless it has low miles.

I figure a good price is $25K the new GS is out and I think you will be able to get that since they will have many on the lot soon. I would look around if you dont mind traveling I know Boston has a couple in that price range with low mileage.
