Cool thanks for all the replies and sorry for the slammed thing...I need as much help as I can get on this. Right now I'm running 245/30/20's & 285/25/20's with no camber kit. But late last week I noticed my rear inner tires are wearing way too fast and I need to do something about it. Its literally the inner 3 inches of the tire. Anyone else have this problem or is anyone using a camber kit that prevents this? Maybe the extra weight in the back from the batteries? Ive had "pancaked" full size chevys and never had this extreme of a problem with this issue. I appreciate any help or advice. Thanks

Guido

These wheels are not very photogenic....but they look so much better in person.

I am running the exact same set up as you. I had to go with Michelins because of the sidewall strength that no other tire had. Expect about 7-8,000 miles on these tires as the inners will wear out at a rapid pace. I have the NF on the car and am experience a bad camber situation.

I believe this can be remedied with coilovers as the camber kit will cause the top of the wheel well to be problematic as the only way the tires will fit with this drop is if the camber is extreme.

It sucks to be first to do this drop as most can't relate with the extra added weight of the hybrid taking its toll on the camber.

What is the wheel width of rears again?

It would be good to get to the bottom of this. Has anyone run Vossen's recommended set up with 20x9 +38, 20x10.5 +45 & 245/30/20, 285/25/20 and lowering springs without serious tire wear and camber issues? Is this just a hybrid problem?

I know some hybrid owners have run slightly narrower rims with 20x8.5 +38, 20x10 +45 & 245/30/20, 285/25/20 & springs and said they have not had camber issues.

Its a staggered set with 9s up front and 10.5s in the rear. I had someone tell me this weekend that I should not have gotten such a wide set of wheels but Im not sure what to think. I have an appointment at Need4Speed this weekend to fix the problem and they are telling me a camber kit will fix it. I could really use some help as I dont want to keep dumping money into this thing. I just wanted to make it look clean and drive it every day. Now its turning into a nightmare Thanks for the help!!!

I know some have used the IS front spc ball joints and the megan or figs rear arms to achieve some camber adjustment. My concern is that those mods would push the top of the tire out which would rub, I imagine. Has anyone corrected Vossen/Spring camber problem or does it take coils to run this set up?

I ran the staggered setup myself. I ran over spec tires though and was lowered on coilovers. I only had to shave the fenders to accommodate the fit. I think a camber kit in the rear would have helped with the fast wearing of my tires. Also my offsets were more aggressive (+32 front and +39 rear).
I think once you dial it in you'll be pleased with the outcome. Hopefully Need4speed can help you out with this, good luck.

Ok, but you are not a hybrid and that's where he is running into problems. IF the camber is fixed with the CURRENT setup, it might not clear the wheel well.
