Default passenger side mirror

so, the other day, someone clipped my passenger side mirror and the entire glass is cracked, luckily the folding mirror still works

i called the stealership and to replace it, it is going to cost $500 because the mirror has some "special filled liquid"

my question is, for a 2011 gs, where would be a good reliable place to find replacement for my gs

i checked ebay, they have tons of mirrors for 06-07, not sure those fit since i think the new models have auto-dimming and are heated

thanks

it was also a hit and run

Depending on your deductible, you could file an insurance claim and have them claim it under the Comprehensive and Collision (parked vehicle) portion of your auto insurance. They'd cover the install too, so if there is an issue later on you just take it back in depending on the warranty from the intaller. And because of the heating, dimming, and power folding (if you have that) features of the mirror, you could request all work be done at a certified Lexus dealer, some insurance companies let you choose although others say you have to take it to one of their "approved" repair shops. Good luck.
