the 3GS, seriously
I have been reading and posting a few times on the 4gs forum. It's a very interesting and exciting place to be, but making a personal statement on the new car's esthetics can be "risky" as the comments can be misunderstood as negative bashing instead of an honest "constructive" opinion.
Anyway, often while debating, the 3GS comes up as object of comparison, and many times I read real bashing of the car. I don't understand what so bad about the car. It's not a true sport car, but so what? I see it as a luxury sedan and personally I like the smoothness of the ride. I don't see the handling problem for an everyday driving. Some folks talk like its an Honda civic they are talking about.
One thing I wish it was different on the 3GS, thou, is the plastic dashboard not looking distinctive and luxury, but nothing as the worse Lexus ever as some say.
personally I love the way the car drives and feels on the road.

I love the power styling and reliability of it.
Only cars that are in a comparison are
BMW 550i 2005-2010. Hate the styling and high repair cost.
MB E500. Dated and boring styling and also high and frequent repair costs.
Infiniti M45. Goofy styling, goofier interior. Great motor and suspension.
JAG XF, also not too bad, but pricier.
Between those cars, I think GS is a clear winner. In a used car market that is.
Also a lot of people have no idea how to blend real time every day performance car with a weekend road racer. My car has a great balance in between. Only thing I would add would be a bit more feel in the steering department and a bit more power, and this is pure greed speaking. You wont see me dropping my car, adding wheels or exhaust to make it better. In real time city driving it is perfect the way it is, its even better once out on the open road out of town.
