Unhappy My GS is in big trouble!

I tried to install Vais ML+ myself today. It was a fail as it is not working.

However what come worst is my air conditioning is not working at all. The climate screen are dead, untouchable. I can't get out of Park while step on the brake. The power switch is not working and my auto headlight is not working!

Does anyone has the same experience and can give give some help?

Thanks.

Popped some fuses perhaps? Did you check the fuses?

Take it back appart and make sure that all the plugs are firmly seated and locked in (easy to over look) and not in the wrong slots (almost impossible).

You really cant screw up anything as it is mostly plug and play. I would bet its a few undone connectors.

first make sure all connections are back to OEM...take out the wires from your vais if they are still there.

check to see if you get power now...If not start to check your fuses. Its PNP so hard for you to short out something unless you touched something or cut a wire that your not sharing. If not this should be a easy fix.

I cant recall is there a fuse on the vais box itself?

I just installed one a couple weeks back but I can't recall seeing fuses on the vais box.

I'm quite sure every connector is in place. Did not cut anything. Could it possible this happens because i did not disconnect the battery while installing and cause fuse burnt? I try to look at the fuse box in the engine bay but cant find fuse for climate control, is there another fuse box for the interior electronics?

Triple check plugs cuz its easy to overlook those things.I didn't get any fuses with Vais ML+ box neither and I didnt disconnect my battery when installed my unit.

What's weird is why your car is your car not being able to get out of "Park" when that has nothing to do with electronics of the stereo....right? Try starting the car in "N" maybe?

Thanks everyone for the help! Very appreciate it. Brought my car to Lexus today to fix the problem. End up burnt fuse as most of the people thinks. Cost me AUD$170 for the fix under extended warranty. Anyway, thanks again for your replies!! Cheers
