Sick Mod! haha...I like the Notebook paper Vinyl more though look...I think you missed a spot.
Haha I actually covered everything within touching distance of the chrome surround with the blue tape first and then covered the surrounding areas with paper. For all 4 headlights there's actually a very minor gap from the housing and the chrome surround so you could get the tape well under the chrome trim. No overspray at all on the headlights. There was some slight overspray on the hood but it's removable with some hard scrubbing.

Of course! You think I'd use the much inferior wide-ruled..?
Masking and prepping took me about 3-4 hours and painting and clearing took less than an hour. You just have to be very patient and cover every nook and cranny. If I could do it again I would put even more paper over the hood as some wind made the paint drift over slightly. But I did it in my garage so the wind was minimal. Well here is a final picture! I've always had this vision for the GS350 to sport it up a bit but still keep the mods tasteful. Let me know what you guys think!

Your car is black. I wouldn't scrub at it. I'd use some quick detailer+claybar. Or if you have some lying around the house, a soft microfiber and acetone(use sparingly).

Sounds good, definitely got some detailer and claybar at home so I'll give that at try.
