Default Pics of my 07 GS450H

Just wanted to share some timeline pics of my recently purchased GS (Nov'11).

When I first got it (w/ 12K miles)

Test fitting my Amistad wheels

HKS and Tanabe installed

How it sits now (JDM visors, JP front lip and 20" LM reps)

Some more minor mods to come but I'm pretty much done. Thoughts welcomed.

Edwin

Glad you changed the wheels... looks much better!

I also had some LM reps on my beater E39 5 series. I'm not a knockoff guy, but I wouldn't put 6,000 authentic BBS LMs wheels on a beater car I bought for a few grand. For the GS, if I was getting LMs I'd probably go for the real deal, but hey I'm not hating at all on you! Looks good.

I don't think you need to get rid of the lip like someone else said. I think there are some better choices out there for the GS if you are only putting a front lip and not the sides and rear also, but it still looks clean how you have it set up.

The tint really makes the silver pop. I like the exhaust too.

I doubt others are going to agree with me, but the stock rims look best

I was always wondering what those wheels would look like on my color.

Good stuff.

Although I'd love to drop the car more, I can't without requiring front fender work.

Thanks for the kind words. I've owned three sets of LM's for my past cars-E46 M3, S2K, 996TT (I love the timeless design) and was looking at picking up the real deals but I couldn't find them in 20's unless bought with GTR offsets. Funny thing is... I thought to myself that since this is a beater, why spend $5-6K on wheels that may get beat up... which is why I opted for the reps.

Appreciate everyone's comments!

Edwin

Can't say either of the aftermarket wheels do anything for me - the first are too bulky, and the LM's too fussy for the shape/design of the 3rd Gen GS.
Still, you're happy with them, so enjoy how they make you feel when you look at them.
