Hi everyone , I tried searching everywhere to see if anyone tried taking out that metal piece in the fog light. Im not sure what it's called but it goes around the bulb (probably deflecting light backwards towards the deflectors) . I find that piece really obstructs the light from emitting out of the fog lights since it sorta wraps around the bulb and prevents us from seeing the bulb directly from looking into the fog light.
Yes you can you will need to remove the foglight housing probably takes baking to do it. I wouldnt suggest doing it as it reflects the light into the housing.

it's really bugging me... i was at the showroom today as my car was getting it's scheduled maintenence... it seems like only the GS's fogs had those annoying "metal hood" that goes over the bulb... baking is too advanced for me thx the the reply! but if anyone else have ANY idea how i might get it out without baking... please still feel free to share or suggest
