20x10.5 on AWD... What mods are needed?
06 GS300 AWD here. Ideally I want to go 20x10.5" all around, but from what I've read it seems that would need major mods done. Considering lowering on FSport springs with stock shocks.
1- What exact mods aside from rolled fenders are we talking here?
2- If not 20x10.5, then what would be the best looking/riding 20" setup on a AWD without major mods? Offsets?
3- Would Fsport springs make 20" wheels look OK? Or are coilovers pretty much necessary to do 20s justice?
I've gone through the entire wheels thread and the AWD susp thread, and have been PMing various members for the past few days. While they've been helpful, I figured I'd open up the discussion to the community as a whole.

F-Sport springs would look fine with 20" rims. I would only go with springs if your able to install yourself. At the end of the day after you pay for install and the springs you could have purchased the BC coils.
Coils will offer you more so you can "fine" tune the ride height exactly how you want it. It will also allow you, depend on offset and tires, to not roll/shave your fenders. I like this option best so you can just slap your OEM suspension back on when your done or if for any reason your not happy with the car lowered. With lowering springs you either pay someone to take off and reinstall your OEM springs or spend the time yourself.
If it was my car I wouldn't bother lowering it wither either being your AWD. I would make your life easier and install the RCA's and call it a day. Its easier to install then coils or springs and will give you that same "look" at the end of the day. Member PHML is who I would contact with questions and guidance if you want to start with this. Its also a fraction of the cost.
Having said the above I tried all options above on a RWD car. If I were to do it all over again on my old GS I would install the RCA's and call it a day.
