Default Road Rash/Bumber Chips = Dr. Colorchip

Just wanted to leave my feedback after using this product. I had pretty severe road rash on my front bumper from driving all highway miles. I purchased a large size qty and did my entire front bumper (some hood, and touched up other spots) and still have some left over for down the road.

This stuff works as advertised!! Takes quite a while to do a job on large area, where there are several small chips, but now you cannot tell anything has been done now and looks GREAT!!

I would have left before/after pictures, but cannot find the before pictures anywhere.

My front bumper was a complete mess (looks like someone spray it with white paint). It took my a good 5-6 hours to do the entire bumper by hand, but in the end it came out PERFECT. Could never tell it was touched, and I have some left over for down the road.

When you apply and it dries, don't let it scare you like it did me. Looks like crap and feels like it will never come off, but the blending solution works like a charm and removes all excess.

I feel like a pitch man for this product, just happy it worked so well.

When you said you used the large size qty, I assume you mean the one that costs $59.99? I'm using you as a guesstimate on which I should buy.

Correct, there is a small and large size if I remember correctly and I picked the bigger ($60 sounds about right). I covered pretty much my entire front bumper and still have almost half a bottle.

I think there expectations were just a little too high. Nothing will really EVER restore it back to showroom quality, but to the naked eye/quick glance my results were night and day. I used the actual Lexus touch-up paint before, and it came out AWFUL. Literally looks like a glob of paint on the spot that was chipped. I prefer this, really wish I had before/after pix, I'm going searching for them again.

Ya heard it but I'm getting my front bumper re-sprayed by a friend as the rock chips for salt and small rocks have taken a toll on my poor baby.

Perfect, thanks I appreciate it. I'm going to order the middle size this weekend and do a review on how well it works on Mercury Metallic. I'll take some before and after pics and post up.

Please do. I noticed a small 3 inch scratch the other day on the lower part of my bumper and I'm wondering how good the match is on mercury metallic. Also, it seems like the product works better on chips than on scratches. What kind of blemishes are you trying to fix?

I ordered mine yesterday, so it should be getting here soon.

My front lip has some rock chips in it, as well as a small scratch (less than an inch). I have a clear bra on my whole front end, except this lip! I was lazy and never took it back in once I got it repainted. Wont make that mistake again.
