So the gs300 being my first nice lexus, I saw that it indicated premium fuel only on the gas hatch. My question is this truly necessary? is there a major difference in going into mid grade or even low grade? I've heard of doing low grade with a mixture of a fuel additive or somethin rather like that, would love some input!
also I'd like to change the map lights but find it challenging to remove the plastic covering. I tried using a small flat head that would normally be used for tightening the screws on sunglasses but noticed I couldn't create enough leverage without it feeling like it was going to break something.

why buy the car if you don't want to spend the money on premium gas? i don't understand why people do that, they want a nice car but want to cheap out on certain things. premium is only a little bit more, it's not worth to ruin your car just to save a few bucks on each fill up.
