So I'm convinced!!!!!

Interesting that you were impressed driving the 4GS 350 after driving a 4.3 liter V8.
I was very impressed with the interior and exterior of the 4GS. I also loved the ML audio system. But I have owned a 2nd gen GS 430 (like you) and a 3rd gen GS 460 and was extremely disappointed that the 4GS wasn't offered with a V8.
I had trouble with the ML system decoding DVD-As (I listen to them more than CDs) in the 3GS. The 4GS had resolved those problems. But without a V8, I felt a drop in power and handling.
I've since traded for a 2012 LS 460 Sport. The car is 100% awesome, handles very well, has a 4.6L V8 and the sound system is top shelf.
If the 4GS had come out with a V8, I might have chosen the lower price tag, but I like to have V8 power to move me through traffic.
