Talk about the full range of opinions on one subject, this thread is it.
Just purchased an 07 GS350 w/ ML and Navi. Will get some pics up soon.
The ML system is, in my opinion, totally inadequate. This is a real sore spot for me b/c my '97 528i had the worst audio of any car I've ever owned (except that '71 mustang in college
).
I'll look around for a DIY thread for ML mods. Anybody know if an EQ can be put inline in the ML system? That alone would be a big improvement.
I agree that the center channel(s) have too much bias with not enough L-R contribution.

I realize this is an old thread. But the search engine still finds it. So in that case, my reply:
Did so for the sub. Helped a lot. See the Kicker link in my sig.
Same here. So silly not to give the user a simple "center width" control like Pro Logic II has.

i had my 2010 GS350 for about 3 weeks now. it has the ML system and i agree with the op that it isnot what i was expecting. especially with this being my fourth Lexus. So i had a 12" eclipse in a sealed box installed for the low end and its tapped off the front driver door. the surround is great but i still needed a little more rumble. now its perfect.
