After tennis lesson with my son, I'll do another video. But, my wife agrees with me that while we're cruising at a steady speed, you can't tell that it's modified...mostly
I agree with you that they did a great job on this and at a great price no less.
Thanks![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Thanks Mike! Your car definitely inspired me to go custom...that and the our 911 PSE
Thanks

music to my ears
Looks great and sounds even better. Glad you went ahead and did this mod. You probably got slight gains, nothing major, but I agree the sound was more important when I did mine. This is how this car should have sounded out of the box with the V6 being more quiet.

Very nice setup! I especially like how it's still Lexus-quiet from the inside. When you were cruising at 40 mph, it seriously sounded like you weren't even driving at all!

btw, our cars were restricted for one reason mainly, to follow emissions and to keep a good MPG rating (from what I see you're still getting 22.2mpg? that's friggin awesome
)
I've been doing a lot of research into the mappings of the 430 v8s and on the 06+ the ECU mappings are set to save fuel vs set to make power, so on the 430 and 460, it's got a lot of potential after you figure out your headers routing (to maximize power instead of just HAVE a set of headers) and proper ECU mapping. I believe at minimum 50hp and probably 50+ TQ alone off of tuning and proper plumbing.

22.2mpg is awesome???
I regularly get 25mpg...every tank. I just got the new setup on Friday, so for the last 3 days, I've done nothing but opening her up! You can just see from my first vid that I started this session @ over 23 mpg, then ended up at 22.2. It will come back to 25 after I stop playing around, but that could be a while.
