Squeaks on cold start; cause for concern?

I have some squeaks coming from my front brakes/rotors on a cold start. It goes away very quickly (after about 30 seconds) and only when I'm rolling out of the garage (under 15mph). Just wondering if this is a cause for concern and if anything could be wrong. I figure it's not big deal other than just annoying.

just annoying, i've had it time after time. Are you around rain or very high humidity areas?
EDIT: I read FL, we supposedly have higher humidity so it could just be your rotors needing to warm up from the rust that builds up (sometimes there's a thinner film than something you'll notice or see).

It does not only happen in FL but in CA too. It only happen in cold start and only last about 2 minutes or a few brakes then it's gone. And only at low speed even when outside is 90 degree F. So I know it's not related to the outside humidity or temp... local Lexus said it's nothing related to safety nothing they will do...
I need help on this too. Very embarrassing driving a noisy Lexus but the next lane $12K Hyundai is quiet. Thoughts?

ohh yeah, it may be the shims.... sorry it took me a while to think of it. you're fine however. Only way to fix this is to change the pads and shims.
Like you said, lexus refused to change mine's for me, they just said next time it's time for a brake service to get it changed![Wink](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I still get it occasionally on the rears, but not the fronts (rotora front slotted/drilled and EBC Green stuff pads).

Good to hear it's nothing but an annoyance, but kinda stinks having squeaky car when the hooptie next to me ride quiet. Any easy fix for this, something you can spray on rotors, maybe?

yes, buy the grease and regrease the shims on the brake pads. a bit of work but it will go away ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
You're right though, we pay 50k+ for our cars, the LEAST lexus can do is replace our squeeky brake pads
