Yes indeed. Nothin prettier than opening the lid and seeing brake fluid the color of light beer and not dark beer.
Been doing this routinely on all fluids on a 22 year old 4runner I bought brand new and to this day it does not drip a drop of nothing and have only changed pads on the braking system. One set of valve covers and never changed the pcv or cams seals or crank seal.
Doing same on my daughters 2002 GS300 sports design and it is in mint condition mechanically. I am a believer.

Coolant needs to be drained and filled at 100k miles. Might be too soon, but if that's what you want to do then better save then sorry. Check this all in one thread of 60k service including pictures. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...many-pics.html

Had the day off and started early changing coolant, diffy fluid, spark plugs and brake fluid. Very easy car to work on. Does anyone know if this car has a timing chain or belt? I'm guessing 3 chains. Any issues with water pumps on the early GS350 models?

Actually brake fluid flush should be every two years.

2 years min if you do short commutes in hi-humidity. I've done my Tacoma every 2 years ( 10 years old now ) and never had to do any brake work yet!?!?

I never looked at time but have done my 1991 4runner every 30k since I bought it new. Never had any issues going on 23 years.
