Default just picked up an 07 GS350 this week

Got under the hood today and unbuttoned all the plastic crap to see what I had. Couple of questions and I did search but did not see anything on where the power steering reservoir is. I did learn the tranny fluid cant be changed unless going to a Lexus dealership to hook up to a special machine. Is Power steering fluid the same? I am not comfortable running fluid forever in a car. Last question I could not find a search hit on is there a diagram showing o2 sensor locations? I only could see one from the top on the driver side closest to firewall. Thanks in advance for any comments to help me out.

Cool

ruthiej: The oxygen sensors are located near the exhaust manifold under the car. One is located between the catalytic converter and manifold. The other is after the catalytic converter.

I got that off Ask.com

Thanks to all that have responded. Is there a way to do a drain and fill on the tranny? I saw in the owners manual a drain and fill with less that 2 quarts. Just wondering how you fill it after you drain it?

You can drain n fill it, but you need a special tool to get the liquid in there. Under the tranny there is a bolt that can be loosened to remove the oil. But you have to fill it from the the top and there is no room to even stick a hand in there. Honestly tranny fluid doesnt require service, i feel you will do more harm then good.

OK, thanks again. Would you leave the original fluid in there for life of the car?

Honestly go by the maintance book, if it doesn't include it there don't touch it. But what is needed every 30k miles is a full brake fluid flush that I highly suggest.

Got a box of parts coming from Sewell's tomorrow. Brake fluid, plugs, filters and Red coolant. Any fluid that can be changed will be changed.
