Then you will really be jealous of my 26.1MPG on a V8. In reality, everyone's commute is different so you shouldn't pay any attention to this kind of thread except that it's "just for fun" information. What you should pay attention to is if your car MPG drops and your commute hasn't...that's a sign that you need to get it checked out.
Surprising so many people have reached these high mpg's as well. Im running on stock everything on the car. I average around 23-24 on highway and 15 or so city. This might be because I use the shell v-power gas. I know it gives more power, but im thinking it burnes faster.
It should be easy to get high 20's on highway of you keep speed cruise controlled around 70mph. But my 95% driving is city which only average about 17 mpg.
I bought my 08 gs 350 with 113mi 3 month ago with stock no modifications, the highest I’m reaching on highway 33.2mpg ! And I’m pretty confident if I have set my cruise control and going on a road trip I’d go over 35mpg

I was cruising at over 70mph when I reached about 29.7mpg which has been the highest on my 2009 GS.
I took a picture when I hit 20,000 miles on the vehicle and the MPG was 29.1
