Rear Seat Cushion Loose?

Rear Seat Cushion Loose?
My car got rear-ended and I just got the car back from the body shop. I can't help but feel that the rear seat cushion seems loose. Specifically, if I open the door and try to lift the side of the rear seat cushion (the big lump that's not perforated), I can move it, a lot. On the other hand, I don't think there were any anchors or straps for the rear cushions other than the two metal ones (one for each side) near each seat center, so I don't think the cushions could've been tied down in any way.
Am I going crazy? Could anyone kindly take 5 mins to see if your GS's rear cushion is a bit loose as well?

Is the whole thing moving or just the end, and can you lift it up where you can see the black bottom. Cause thats normal, mine does that and it only moves the edges, not the whole thing.

well he did say SUPER DUPER loose, so loose as a woman who's been around just doesn't sound normal.
How about this, try feeling the cushion of the LOOSE side and feel the cushion of the other side and see if it's the same. Because everyone has their own definition of loose, it might be normal to us what is oddball to you.

Let me see if this picture uploading thing works:

The two pictures are of the seat in normal and lifted position. I'd say it moves maybe 2-3 inches.
It only moves on the edge (i.e. the non-perforated chunk). I can see the black plastic inside if I try.
It's about the same on both sides.
I guess this is possibly normal then?

It does take a bit of force. The body shop claims that this is normal, especially after the seat has been removed then reinstalled. I guess this isn't the biggest issue in the world, but still annoying.

if it takes a bit of force, leave it alone It's not gonna fly off in a case of an accident, and yes. If you need a bit of force that is normal as is with any car.
Having passengers in the back will flatten it back into place and it'll seat properly down later on if that's any consolation.

That's good to know! I think it's going to take some time for me to really start enjoying my car again after the accident (someone on her iPhone rear-ended me, damaging the bumper and quarter-panel). I seem to feel there are all these little things wrong with the car now. Just yesterday I found a broken white plastic clip underneath the trunk lining, but decided that I really don't want to make a fourth trip to the body shop at this point ...
