Default How do you change the clearance bulb on the 06 GS300?

I have to replace one of these bulbs, so I figure I'll just do both of them.

It's the bulb located next to the daytime running lamp...

Is there any instructions on how to do this?

What tools will I need?

Can I put a white or blue bulb, instead of a yellow bulb?

Any info is much appreciated.

Thank you.

are you talking about the parking light? the ones that lights up when u turn the car's headlights on?

That's the only thing I can think of, and last i checked, it was literally a stick that you twist counter clockwise and pull, and out comes the itty bitty bulb. Almost all of us have changed it to LEDs, search around the forums for "parking light" you should see the different variations in colors.

Oh ok. Thank you for the info. Do I need to loosen any bolts to get to that area by chance?

Also, where do you get the LED bulbs for it from?

I appreciate the help.

you don't need any tools, just be aware you need to take apart your engine cover. He got his from V-leds, I got mine's from superbrightleds.com, both reputable sites. Besides this, I reccomend white/cool white, not blue as that might get you a ticket

There's a thread to the procedures of taking the engine covers apart if you need it:

ITWORKS is right, i'm growing tired of the 8000k theme. Not going to change it but it does get cliche after a while
