Hey guys. I bought a CPO 06 GS430 last month. It currently has 53,000 miles. I bought the car at a Lexus dealership about 3 hours away from my house. A few days after I bought the car, I noticed that there was an excessive amount of windnoise coming from the moonroof (when closed). It's almost as if the moonroof isn't sealing properly (the back edge of the moonroof is slightly higher than the roof and seems to be catching wind on the highway).

Anyway, I called the dealer where I bought the car and they told me they'd be happy to fix it for me, but obviously, unless I want to take a day off and drive out there, wait on it, and drive home, that's not going to happen.

So I called my local dealer where I have had all my service performed on my last 2 cars, and they told me that wind noise is not covered by the Lexus CPO warranty. Is that correct? It seems to me that if the moonroof is not seated properly, then that should be covered. The service advisor told me that noises generally, and in particular wind noise, is not covered.

Is he right? Does anyone know? Thanks.
