Default Alarm/Power Porblem! Need help ASAP please!!

I woke up this morning to my car going off. It seemed like only half of the alarm is going off and is still doing it at this very moment. The high beams are flashing and the horn is beeping at a 1 hertz rate simultaneously. I try to unlock the door, open the trunk, etc. but the car won't respond to my key. Everything was fine 5 hours ago when I came home, but this just started about 2 hours ago according to the apartment manager. I feel like something may be grounded but have no idea where to start. Any help would be great!!!

Yikes! disconnect the battery, sounds like a sensor has failed.... You MAY, not 100% sure, but you MAY need to tow it to the dealer tomororw.

Disconnect it for 15-20 minutes, reconnect the battery, and see how that goes (just the negative terminal of the battery, no need to remove the battery itself).

I tried that already, it goes right back to the honking and flashing. Which sensor do you think would cause this?

The only thing I've done is the Led headlights and vaistech. no wire cutting of any kind. I tried leaving the battery disconnected for 30 minutes, that got the horn/flashing to stop, but now i think it's only because the battery is dead.... So confused...

Well it's running now, don't know what the problem is, but i don't wanna chance it either. The dealer is just right down the street. Besides... my guy owes me one.

awesome! And yeah, if you haven't tampered with the security system, you should be fine Check all your doors sensors, see if your doors lock when you press the button on the door, check the trunk button too (under the trunk lid above the license plate). see if all is working well... then check your car remote's battery, see if voltage is good.

P.S. Check your courtesy switches (the black accordian looking button when you open the door) push it in and out constantly and see if the sound is intermittent with your pushing and letting go motion. Do this for all 4 doors.
