If you want a blue/white "matching" look on the front of the car replace the 194's with a LED that gives off light in the right temperature range... Even if you pay an arm and a leg for the 194 LED's (and that choice is yours) you will be happier with the results

2008gsh..... pics of your setup.....or move along ....

Welcome to a free country, where I can post whatever I like (so long as its within the rules of the forum)

The Polarg bulbs are nothing more than a regular 194 bulb that has been dipped to make it look like and LED... why not just skip the marketing, packaging and hype and run a Blue/White LED instead?

If you are worried about low quality LED's... there are lots of expensive LED sets in bubble packaging that work fine, and lighten your wallet just as well as the incandescent Polargs

Calm down! it's only a $10 bulb, If it last a year and matches I got my monies worth. You keep making arguments about bulbs. The water in your toilet is the same water that comes out of the faucet but you won't wash your face with the water out of your toilet. We could make the same arguments about soap or toilet paper. It's not that serious, in the end we just want the colors to match. You did your thing and no one is knocking it we are just looking at a different route.

Take a read of the thread, the one with the high blood pressure ain't me, I'm just trying to help some members here achieve the look they want at a price that is considerably more affordable. And the Polarg bulbs are not $10.. they are $11 plus $6 shipping. I replaced ALL of my non HID bulbs on the from of my car for less than a pair of these.

This thread started, as an open call for opinions about bulbs, that was a mistake, since the OP does not want to hear a counter opinion/option. The blue dipped incandescent bulbs were the cool bulb in 1995... Times, technology and prices have changed. Run old school bulbs if you like, I'm only offering "better" and "cheaper" options to achieve the look that you want. The problem with ALL of the blue dipped bulbs, both incandescent and halogens, is when they are off you have this blue thing in the reflector. Which is not the best look. The LED's on the other hand, when they are off, are clear, and nearly invisible. It is a better look, unless you like that blue gem in the middle/side of your reflector.

And as for the water in your toilet, in the case of an emergency, the water in the tank of your toilet is perfectly safe to drink or to wash/brush your teeth with... though I wouldn't use the water in the bowl, once it hits the bowl, it is no longer "the same" .

opinions are highly welcome.....

hi blood pressure?? lol you need to take a laxative bro... you keep saying the same ishh over and over ...just give it push cause i know your not done yet.

i have yet to see a LED bulb that matches the stock color of lo beam bulbs. The polargs are a close match but aren't as bright as id like them to be.

2008GSH id love to see some pics of your led setup..... all this anger.....i think your just made because we have the car you wish you had...

Thats at least the second insult you have sent my way, when I'm just trying to help.

Your most welcome.

Pictures of my car exist on this forum... That makes one of us.

Not true, I did not bash you in the other thread, I simply pointed out the truth, that the Polarg bulbs are not halogens as you posted earlier or LEDs as the OP in that thread suggested... and that they are a rather pricey incandescent option that seem to be taking a long time to ship (your observation not mine BTW) when better cheaper option are available.

Did your other bulbs arrive yet or are they still being shipped?

As I posted on this thread... I think that the bulbs you have picked will look great, and I think you will be happy with them, and I think they will make the car look way better, and I think that Lexus should have made bulbs like these stock issue... The issue is not that these aren't great bulbs, the counter point I was trying to offer to you nicely, before you called them ******y, or stated I needed a laxative, or stated I was spamming your thread, or stating my car is made up, bla bla bla....

Was simply that you can easily achieve exactly the same look that you are after for about 10 cents on the dollar.

It is also a little ironic, that after I suggested that you shop around for your bulbs, you did - exactly that - and you bough the polargs from a different vendor, at a lower price then your original link... Well done, that was my point, again, glad I could help.

Just my .02. It's worth paying whatever you feel to get the look you wish to achieve. If you are ok with spending 100+ for a HID kit instead of 50, then more power to you. If you want to go a different route to save money, that is just fine as well. Same goes for LED. I have no problem spending 10 or 20 bucks on LED that i know match and will last. I used VLED for mine, and am quite satisfied. They match very close to my 6k HIDXtra fogs and highs, and my Garax 6k lows. If you want to spend less - go for it, there is nothing wrong with that. It's your car, mod as you see fit. Ultimately, the only person who needs to enjoy the car is you. I've never subscribed to the 'JDM only' belief. If i can find the same exact mod cheaper, you bet that's the way i will go.
The pic i have linked shows the lows and fogs, with the VLED parking lights.
