quick quest about our headlight.... need help with the confusuion
I want to get an led bulb for the lights that are on when the headlight is off... Idk if its the drl or city lights, idk....
But point is i hate the yellow look so id like to mKe it hyper white.. problem is i dnt want to change my high beams... And considering there are two bulbs in that light i wonder if one is the bulb thats on and the other is the high beam... Is there anyone that has made this upgrade? If so pics plz... Thanks

that's the 9005 bulb (The bigger one). not sure if they have an led replacement for that one. The small bulb in there is the one that comes on when the headlights are on. Check with BBOND in https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-third-generation/641259-lights-shopping-list.html. He ordered 9005 philips diamond vision from Nigel last week to get rid of that yellow.

BBOND did not buy LED's for the little parking light.. he specifically choose blue dipped incandescent 194's and super expensive ones at that That ship like the second coming
The 9005 Diamond Philips are also Yellow at DRL 1/2 power... every Halogen, regardless of how its tinted will have a yellow glow at 6ish volts.

If you want blue/white 194 LED's there ya go... 1.30 for the pair. shipped to your house
As for the 9005
Ya Led's exist for that bulb too:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/9005-HB3-68-...c8ef7d&vxp=mtr
$7.00 for the pair... of couse the won't work at DRL levels and are likely to be less bright at High beam levels.
There really still is no "have your cake and eat it too" option for a Blue/White matching DRL and full intensity High Beam blub.
The HID and LED kits will delete the DRL option and the "Tinted' Halogens are still yellow at part intensity.

I know for sure that they make the 9005 leds. Just type that very words in an ebay search. The stock 9005s are the high beams that are running on low power and therefore function as DRLs. If you get the 9005 leds, then you get the look of DRLs but your high beams are basically gone. It's a matter of looks vs. functionality. Although, I could have sworn I saw somewhere that they make a halogen bulb with leds at the base of the bulb. I could have been dreaming, though.
