I think if you can find a wrecked GS you can swap those compartments easy.
Mine has the progammable one on the mirror but my garage is an old system but you still open it with a controller i tried to program it once didn't work not sure if I did it correct or not but i had the garage for 5-6 years I think the system is old and not compatible with the car...
Hmm..... I believe our cars, along with the millions of others, now have rolling code garage door openers. I hate to be a nit pick, but you really should change it up soon! You have no idea how easy it is to hack a garage type like yours. Take it from me, as I'm one of those geeks that had a partner for science class (who had the potential, not me) to have someone's garage door opener like yours. Granted it is still achievable with rolling code systems, it's quite a bit harder. Something I don't think should be pliable to speak upon on this forum LOL.
