Default Best location for VAIS ML+ unit in GS 300 with ML / Nav?

I have just got a 2007 GS 300 with "multimedia pack" - i.e. ML audio, navigation and reversing camera.

I want to install a VAIS ML+

Found great instructions on how to remove nav unit in forum - thanks to those who posted.

Just not sure where will be best place to put the ML+: would value ideas from the forum. Seen two suggestions so far:

Not sure which unit is being installed in first example (tucked in) so unclear if ML+ would fit there. The Glovebox suggestions don't have photos (that I've found at least) so not sure how they work. But I'd prefer to have unit out of sight if possible.

Seems that cables are long enough to allow iThing connector to end in centre console whichever of these locations chosen.

Wondered if under passenger / driver seat was possibility.

Anyhow thanks in advance for whatever info can be provided.

You either have a GS300 (2006) or a GS350 (2007). There is no such thing as a 2007 GS300.

If you have a GS300, you will not be able to plug and play the VAIS ML+.

Start out by identifying what you're actually driving.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

My car is a 2007 GS 300 SE with multimedia pack. Picture attached

How is this possible? Because it is a European spec car. Check this model list and you will see that the GS 300 was offered in Europe and elsewhere through until 2012.

Hopefully that clears up the misunderstanding.

Start by looking at member's info to the left of their post, especially location!
Then appreciate Lexus Europe only ever brought in the 300, 430, 450h, and 460.
The 350 and AWD models passed us by unfortunately.

i don't think you can fit it under passenger seat, might be too tight. same inside center console, the cables are problem. behind glove box there is not enough space.

what i do is pull out passenger side carpet under glove box, there is foam. cut out a piece and ml+ fits nicely
