I'll stick to OE because I have never had anything to complain about with my OE setup... no noise, lasts a long time and stops just fine.

I second that. Well i prefer blank rotors unless you're experiencing heat issues or you want the look. Dimples, cross drilled, and slotted rotors tend to make noise.

I appreciate all the input. I've had my rotors turned a few times and after my most recent brake job there is now an audible clank sound heard after the brake pedal is engaged. so since I'm upgrading to 4 piston calipers on the front, I though I would replace all the rotors as well.

Does it require larger master cylinder, or is it a straight swap?

I believe it's a straight swap.

An audible clank doesn't sound like a worn rotor to me... Sounds like something is loose under there, make sure calipers aren't loose, check ball joints, etc.

That's the kind of stuff that scares me.

I think I made a mistake...so I ordered replacement rotors specific to my 06 RWD, but since I'm upgrading the front calipers to larger ones, do I need the larger rotors that are on a 07 350? and is there a difference in front rotors between AWD and RWD?? a hasty response is appreciated CL members. thx

Ok there is a difference between 2006 model rotors and 2007 models rotors. They have different calipers and rotors size. Now there is also a difference between AWD rotors and RWD rotors, AWD has bigger hubs in the front and RWD rotors don't clear it. So if you are doing an upgrade to 2007 calipers and rotors, you will need caliper set, pads and 2007 GS350 RWD rotors because you have a RWD vehicle. Hope this helps
