Default IS-F wheels & 3GS offset

My question is... what size spacers should I run for an OEM+ fitment. Not looking for exactly flush, but close.

Front: 19x8 ET45 (225/40-19)
- External fender to rim = 23mm
- Internal fender to rim = 6mm

Rear: 19x9 ET55 (255/35-19) ((rear wheels poke +3mm further than stock))
- External fender to rim = 27mm
- Internal fender to rim = 10mm

(fender width internal to external = 17mm front and rear)

I already know that designo had 20mm *(correction, 25mm) spacers on his stock setup front and rear (see image below)
The front looks just slightly more aggressive than what I'm going for. The rear... maybe maybe not because the IS-F wheels are 3mm further out than the stock wheels.

I'm thinking 10mm front, 15mm rear.

What are your thoughts?

THANKS!!!

Hi

Actually, that picture is with the outrages 25mm spacers and stock height!

Check out my thread here:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...fter-pics.html

These are more what you're looking for
20mm with Eibach springs.

Ah. Thanks for the clarification!

If these were the options, what would you choose?

10mm front / 15mm rear

or

15mm front / 20mm rear

Thanks!

If you go with anything smaller than a 15mm spacer you can't get adapters, you'll have to press in extended studs. Just a little more work on your end. For that reason alone I'd probably go 15/20 or 15 all around just to make things easier

Thanks! Good point. I've been between the two options for that very reason.

The IS-F wheels are staggered, so I am going to keep a 5mm difference between the two. Thus, the 15mm all around is out.

I feel that it would be wise to remove (Ichiba V2 type) spacers for winter, and it would be easy to do. Salt and road grime would not be flung onto the sides of the car during the winter months if the spacers were off. That is a plus.

My short term suspension plan is to put 20mm RCAs in the front to even out the AWD rake, but keep the rear the same.

Would the 15/20 be too aggressive for that height? The tires have a slight stretch on them, so it may not be too bad.

Thoughts?

Ok, quick update...

Talked with JR at Adaptec Speedware and they are making 2 pairs of custom spacers for me.

Front: 15mm bolt-on style*

Rear: 20mm bolt-on style*

*(like the Ichiba V2 style, but without having to mess with hub centric rings)

Will update with pics as soon as the spacers arrive.
On a side note, Adaptec seems like a really cool bunch. Kinda the way my dad always told me that industry worked in the 1950s. People that stood behind their product, and took pride in their work. I'm guessing its what made "Made in the USA" meaningful.
Made in the USA... I support that.

example...
