Default How much I should pay for this GS350?

I was involved in a multiple rear-end accidents and my car suffered heavy damages since it got sandwiched between two other cars. Five cars were piled up at 45 mph and I was number 4 then got rear end by another Ford truck. The front and knee airbags deployed and I got bad bruises on my face and knees but I was able to walk away from the wreck. My daughter was shaking in the backseat because the back windshield was shattered in pieces. Anyway, the guy from towing company states that the car should be totaled since it is heavy damage. My question are:

1. How much money do you think Allstate will pay for ACV? It's 2006 GS300 with 106k miles in pristine condition. I still owe around 13k to the bank.

2. Can I go after the guy rear end me? I did not get any citation or knew anyone who did yet.

I'm looking for another GS and I found this one on Ebay. How much should I offer him? It's a MB dealer in Florida. Thanks

Cars at a good price, i'd offer 27500$ just to see if they budge down a bit
NADA value is
Clean retail - $33,075
Clean trade in -$29,125
Rouch trade in -$27,225

The insurance co should offer you replacement value, IE, what the average selling price is of a comparable car PLUS sales tax.

If you were not at fault you shouldn't be out for a deductible either. With a $13k payoff I doubt that you're upside down in this case. Assuming a RWD with no navi or ML but with a moonroof that's clean you'd get $12k from a trade in or thereabouts, realistically I think it's a $15k or so retail piece.

That's a very good price for that car on eBay, if it had a clean Carfax, it does $30k at the auction, easy. It's Pearl White and those always ring the bell.

With an accident... probably does $28k at auction, so still a good retail price.

My car is just a base RWD with no NAV. It has AFS, rain sensor, rear shade, and chrome wheels. The car I want to buy does have a rear end accident in Carfax and I made an offer of $27k but the guy counteroffered $29,500, $500 lower from his buyitnow price LOL.

Ha! counter offer, let him know that you know the vehicle has been wrecked, and that your offer stands at 27500 if he wants to sell, and thats what you are looking to spend, stand firm, and im sure he will budge the worst he can say is no and even maybe drop another $500, but really nice car, and yes the color is a plus

That color is worth $1,000-1,500 over an average color (Silver, SGM).

$29,500 is a good price, in fact it's a very good price. There's a reason you're looking at a car over a thousand miles away

Of course counter the guy, but if I were in the market I wouldn't have regrets about pulling the trigger there.

Well, I got a good settlement from the insurance and I can fly to FL from my state to pick it up. The guy still insists $29,500. Dealers around my tri-state area are smoking crack when listing their prices. I found a few LS460 with low miles around 35k. I'm still debating if I should upgrade to LS instead.

I'd take an LS for a spin first. They're great mile eaters but kind of feel like motorized sofas to me, not exactly fun to drive down a twisty road but great if you do a lot of interstate driving.
