Moonroof Up/Down and Open/Close performing same action
Just picked up an 06 GS430 with 72k miles over the weekend, Just noticed that Pressing Up/Down or Open/Close does same thing.
Meaning If Moonroof is completely closed and by Pressing Close it actually TILTS up the moonroof.
Logically it shouldn't do anything once its closed...Unless Up is pressed.
or
If Moonroof is Tilted up and If Down is pressed...It actually tilts the moonroof down which is good however, it continues to open the Moonroof.
Let me know if anyone else has experienced this? or is there a way to reset the Moonroof ECU or can the configuration be changed?

I just reprogrammed my moonroof. Had to disconnect the battery today and lost the one-touch. This is how I did it:
1- Key on, engine not running.
2- Push and Hold the "UP" button and let the moonroof cycle through, Vent-Close-Full Open-then Close.
After that, everything works!
1- Key on, engine not running.
2- Push and Hold the "UP" button and let the moonroof cycle through, Vent-Close-Full Open-then Close.
After that, everything works!
