Just picked up my Gs430 about 2 weeks ago and found a great deal on some Vossens. Since the car has the sport suspension and i didnt want to loose my ride quality i went with Tanabe NF springs. Took me about 5 hrs to install but the end result was well worth it . The Vossens fit perfect on this car and thanks to the forum i was able to do research so no lights came on the dash and made it much easier

Nice, was it you r first time installing springs? Would love to install my springs myself but havenr done it b4. With all the proper tools what would you rate it in a difficulty scale of 1-10.

I have a good amount of experience working on cars. Nothing about this job is difficult but its very time consuming. I had air tools and it took me 5hrs. If you dont do springs and install coilovers it will be quicker since you dont need to take apart the springs. Here is a great video i found that really helps. Everything in it was great except the rear was done completely wrong. When you get to the rear you have to remove the lower 19mm bolt that holds the strut. There is another 19mm bolt next to it that holds that arm im place. That has to also be removed so you can lower the arm down to remove the strut. There is also a 12mm bolt that goes through the same arm that secures the swaybar to it. Its the same bolt on the rear drivers side tha thas the sensor attached to it to sontrol the leveling of the headlights. In the video you will see the guy compress the rear springs and use a huge pry bar to force the suspension down to pull the strut out which he did because he didnt remove the proper bolts

This pictures show the adjustment you need to make to the drivers rear of the sensor so you dont get a light on the dash for the headlights. The bolt in the bottom of the pic is the one thats attached to the sway bar on both sides. Its is helpful to have an extra set of hands but not needed. I will note when doing work like this and getting the 19mm bolts out and in dont be afraid to use a hammer on the head of the bolt of a punch on the threaded end as long as you are not hitting the threads. Suspension is under pressure and these bolts dont just slide out and in easily all of the time
