Default Humming Sound
I too have a humming sound from the front of my 2006 lexus GS300 AWD with 162,000kms and I hope that it is the wheel bearing and not a transmission. Have my appointment schedule for next week. Does anyone know of the expected cost of a front wheel bearing replacement?

Did anyone mention Servo motors? ^^^^The cost of the front wheel bearings will be too much if you do it at the dealership, try independent certified mechanic. GL!

The dealership cost to replace mine was almost $800 - and the part was $234. How happy was I that I bought the extended warranty??? VERY.

Default Fixed wheel bearing
It was the front passenger side wheel bearing. Price for parts was 500 bucks! Yes, it is the AWD model. Noise is completely gone.
