the keyfob is annoying me a lot....
my next oil change service is due soon, so i would want to let my dealer really do something about my keyfob (or if there is antenna on top of the car not sure if its similar as Mercedes), i had my car almost a year and i can't unlock the car or start the car unless i have the keyfob outside my pants, it kinda defeat the purpose of having keyless remote start or entry if you have to have it out all the time, i am pretty sure the problem is not the key because both key has fresh batteries and the previous owner never use the second key at all (still in envelope) even sometime when i am driving, i will get the message key not detected the dealer looked at it twice but they always say they don't see any problem with it.
my mom RX450h never have issue with it but its just my luck.. i don't know..
will offer free brownies whoever give me advice to tell the dealer

Unless you want arrested for indecent exposure, I'd say they do matter.
Has this only started recently, or been an ongoing issue?
Might not be related, but I'd consider putting a charger on the battery overnight or going for a good long drive (1-2 hours) for the alternator to put a decent charge back into the battery.
That said, I have my suspicions that this model is fairly sensitive to surrounding sources of other radio waves.
If it's only at home you're experiencing this, then that's where I suspect it's interference.
Drive out into the countryside a bit - open area with little to no power/telephone lines overhead, etc.
See if it acts up there.
As said, my suspicion comes from at least one set of traffic lights near me, that as I wait to turn against the flow of oncoming traffic, will result in the park assist display popping up along with accompanying beeps, when there is no traffic in proximity.
I've also noticed the odd occasion where the sensitivity to unlocking as you touch one of the door handles is different from previously and subsequently.
And my batteries have been replaced too.
So try a few things and see if you can find a commonality to help diagnose whether it's a matter for concern or something you have to reluctantly accept - all cars have their foibles.

We own three cars, all with keyless entry/push button start (one of which is my GS). I find the above strange that something is not being replaced "in the car". Lexus/his dealership needs to step up and swap a module or something, if nothing else to rule it out - given the fact they obviously don't know what's wrong. And something is wrong. I couldn't tell you how many times I have tossed my gym bag with keys in the trunk and still started the car. I know in my GS I can at least have my key fob in my briefcase in the backseat and it stil starts etc.
This just sounds like another case of warranty denial. Now the "electronic interference" theory is plausible yet easily diagnosed but that doesn't appear to be the issue.
