Ive read somewhere that pulling the trac fuse disables the vehicle stability control system, is there any disadvantages to pulling the trac fuse on a 3gs,other than extra wheel spin ? where is this fuse located?

Leave it enabled, it's a safety feature... you wouldn't ride a motorcycle without a helmet would you? Okay, well, a lot of people down south seem to think that's a good idea so perhaps a bad analogy.

Truthfully the trac does not bother me in the 3GS for one simple reason (probably the wrong reason)
- It does not have an LSD.
At heart I really cannot stand RWD cars with no LSD - I have had and LSD in every single RWD car I have ever owned, wether I installed it or it came that way (even my 1992 Mazda pickup I installed an LSD)
Since the "one wheel peel" would just endlessly irritate me, along with the uneven tire wear (L/R) - not to mention the fact you cannot properly drift - I just prefer to leave the trac on.
