I own a 2008 GS 350 with 50K miles garage kept.
I have noticed a higher idle on colder mornings.......car almost wants to jump at stop lights. It seems I have to break harder to make it completely stop. This normally lasts for just 10 min.

Yes perfectly normal. Had the same question a couple weeks back. I like how my previous bmw and Mercedes don't do that. But ill take the Lex any day over them when it comes to reliability and repairs.

Yea that is normal, but I hate it. In winter I even had front wheels lock up while rear was dragging the car in snow.( going about 5mph coming to a read light) You have to be very carefull, and it requires more force on brakes then usual which also can be very annoying.

I wonder putting the car in S shift Gear 3 would help.
I will try it next time.
On a snowy day, I warm up the car several minutes before driving a way.
