Default New air filter / 2008 GS 350 / 50k mi

Guys,

The air filter has never been changed.

Questions: should I change it, what brand filter, is it easy to change myself?

Thanks

.

YES! (Holy crap!) You should be changing this every 15k or sooner depending on driving habits and environment.

Simple to change - I am sure there is a DIY here somewhere.

Use stock or you can find several others online such as Wix, Fram, Denso, etc.

If you come down here to Nashville, I will do it for you lol.

Now that I think of it you probably need to do cabin filter too.

Has the oil been changed?

HAHAHAHA oh man, you made my day. Atleast you're honest, you'll learn a lot from here! DIY is Do-It-Yourself. Cabin filter is very easy to change. However make sure the air is on RECIRCULATION. Not taking outside air. You can break the assembly and it's a very costly fix at the dealer.
