I have the same color and I just polished it this past weekend and the paint is OMG CLEAR now !

I would buy a sealant to seal that polish so it doesnt scratch up as easily and keeps that nice shine.

whoops, missed that!

Also, I'd like to add to your post about Sealant, as it adds UV protection to your paint's finish. Having your car polished and compounded out leaves your bare clear+paint exposed to UV rays, damaging your paint.
