catalytic converters delete help
I'm thinking about deleting my cats. I believe our cars come with four. Mainly doing out for a little bit more noise. I already deleted the resonator and is running aftermarket mufflers but I would like a little more noise. I've read a coupe threads staying that if we remove our cats it will throw a cel. I was thinking can I some kinda way use this electriced muffler cut off valves and x pipe it to my mufflers? I can clear the cel come inspection time and still have the factory cats. Or could I get hi flow cats for a more better tone?

First of all, is your car a V8 or V6?
If de-cat your V6, you might not like the raspy sound, unlike the V8's.
Also, your car has mufflers as axle-backs. The come the mid pipes which have your secondary cats on them and a resonator. You can de-cat that pipe or replace it with a resonated mid pipe. ( Which is what you have in mind doing )
Your primary cats are attached to your exhaust manifolds.
Your car will not throw a CEL is you decat or replace your mid pipes. I have done it and I have no issues!
