Talking Want Bluetooth streaming audio in your GS? I review the MediaBridge

Well, after peering over this thread, I decided to take the plunge and purchase the AudioVox MediaBridge. You can click here to read about all the fancy things it does, but what I wanted it for was streaming audio. I made this new thread because I wanted anyone interested in Bluetooth audio (specifically) to see it.

Below I have posted my video review, which goes over the system, how it integrates with our car (both hardware and software), how calls are handled (Lexus vs. MediaBridge), sound quality (MediaBridge vs. AUX port) and the Bluetooth audio functionality. I did not review satellite, Siri, or any other feature, but this should give you a good idea of how it will work should you want to do the same thing. I tried to make the video as short as possible!

Tl;dw... it works fine, albeit with a few glitches here and there. Interested? Order part number MBR-1500-TOY.

Here is the video.

Thanks! Tyler

Nice bro. I've never heard of this module. Will this work with an 06 GS? How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? I currently have the iSimple. I had the BT streaming in my Benz and I miss it.

Awesome video! I am in the market for something and I also have an 06 Gs300 with ML and Navi.

Did you need to buy any specific cables?

Thank you for making that video! It is nice to see how all these systems work in our cars.

It sure will work in an 06 3GS! Check any vehicle here.

Nope, and I can't imagine why you would need to either. It really is plug and play.

If this is using the input for SAT radio, I should be able to use it in conjunction with my VaisTech ML+ then, right? Can anyone confirm?

Also, what's a good price for this? A quick check showed about $300. Is that accurate?

Keyless entry, remote start and bluetooth streaming is the way to go.
