Default Any recourse for squeaky brakes?

I've read in this forum taking their cars to lexus due to the ridiculous squeaky brakes. Mine are bad when I back out of my space in the morning and the first few brakes thereafter. Really loud.

I have an 08 GS AWD.. under extended platinum warranty from Jerry. I realize brakes are normally excluded from the warranty.. but can I make a brake claim under their TSA? Does being under warranty help my cause at all?

i belive you read my post? I just got my car back last week for the squeaky brakes, the SA told me they cna't do anyhting about it since the TSIB only cover cars with mfg warranty which is 4years 50k miles. which we pass long long time already, but someone did mention we can complain to lexus HQ and maybe they can do something for us, i will try this next week, my SA told me since its nothing dangerous no accident or recall they aren't gonna do anything about it

if the pads are fairly new and making noise, its because of the material theyre made of and is no big deal.

maybe some WD40 can lubricate and make it worn evenly... than it won't squeak.

My car do squeak a bit when it park too long and rust build up... I read around about reducing rust build up and ppl us WD40. Have to reapply every time though cause the brake burn and remove it when drive. And the stopping distance is reduce a bit when the WD40 still on.

I also have an 08 GS AWD and lately my brakes have been squeaking very loudly especially in the morning and usually whenever the car has been sitting for awhile. It happens when I leave from work. I thought this was an indication of the brakes going bad, but the dealership has told me that the pads are made of a harder material and this is normal. I still have them check when I bring it in for service. They offered to install a brake kit for $860. Of course I passed.
